Dr. Isabelle DeMatteis Offers a Wide Range of Treatments
Dr. Isabelle DeMatteis is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. She completed her undergraduate education at Columbia University and in 2011 received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry.While at NYU, she also completed an honors program in oral medicine and oral pathology, giving her extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologic conditions of the head and neck area.
Dr. DeMatteis continued her professional training at The Mount Sinai Hospital Center in Manhattan, completing a specialty residency program in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2016. During her training at Mt. Sinai, she also served in the capacity of chief resident. She is certified in dental general anesthesia and offers IV anesthesia services for patients of various ages.
Besides being a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. DeMatteis is also a Fellow of the American Association of of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a member of the American Dental Society for Anesthesiology. She further maintains memberships with the NYS Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the NYS Dental Association, and the NY County Dental Society.
Dr. DeMatteis practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with a focus in dento-alveolar and implant surgery including wisdom teeth extractions, implant reconstruction with bone grafting techniques, sinus lift procedures, apicoectomies, exposure of impacted teeth, pre-prosthetic surgery, and the treatment of benign pathology.
She practices in our Manhattan and Hoboken locations, where she treats both children and adults. She guides all patients compassionately through their surgical care.
In her spare time, Dr. DeMatteis enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family and her dog Maui.
