I recently needed a tooth extracted, and even though I tend to be an anxious patient, I felt calm and informed throughout my procedure. I needed to have my wisdom teeth extracted and was referred to Mid-Manhattan Oral Surgery by my dentist. I’m incredibly uncomfortable at the dentist but my experience here was great. Dr. Calat and his team were amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly and the doctor walks you through every step and ensures you are comfortable, from the evaluation all the way through the procedure and after-care. I had my top two wisdom teeth pulled years and years ago by a former dentist and so leading up to this appointment, I was a nervous wreck. It was more of an emergency tooth removal so I couldn’t wait for an appointment in which I’d be fully put under. Yes, they were a little tough getting out, but I was honestly so impressed with how they managed to make it feel seamless at the same time. It was faster than I’d thought. Dr. Carunchino is the best!

Painless and very professional experience getting my upper two wisdom teeth extracted, my sister has gone here as well and got all 4 extracted with no complications. All staff are very kind and Dr. Calat is a pleasure to talk to!
